If you don't know Frank, he produces the Draft Insiders Digest. Has been for over 20 years. He's also worked as a talent consultant for NFL teams as well as a scouting consultant for the Senior Bowl.
This isn't his first rodeo, is what I'm saying. The guy's got a long resume.
Anyway, he made this comment about Bruce Carter in his draft guide this year....
Best punt blocker I have ever scouted.
Whoa. That's saying something. I know his LB play is far more important (in that regard, Frank calls him the best pursuit LB in the draft) but what a tremendous bonus that would be if he's truly that special at blocking punts. That's something you can see right away in 2011.
