You're getting way ahead of yourself. Garrett knows what he is getting into with a Jerry Jones-run operation. That Garrett was able to select his coaches, with Jerry giving him the financial resources needed, says the head coach is in charge of his domain.

Do you see Stephen taking over the day to day running of the team in the next 5 years or so?

Stephen Jones is well-respected within the league. Jerry Jones runs the show as long as he wants, which could be a long time. The man has an iron constitution.

What are the chances the cowboys release Newman and acquire Asomugha?

I'd make it 60-40 that Newman returns. Every team will make a run at Asomugha, but he wants to play in New York.
