Fraley: Don't be surprised to see both Marion Barber and Tashard Choice leave Cowboys

SportsDayDFW.com writer Gerry Fraley chatted with fans on Wednesday and answered questions about the Dallas Cowboys and the 2011 draft. Here are some highlights:
Who leaves, Marion Barber or Tashard Choice? I really hope Choice stays. If it is Choice, what kind of pick would he get us?
I would not be surprise to see both depart: Barber, because he is of no value whatsoever; Choice, because his value on the open market could decline with another season of little use. Choice probably could get a fifth-round pick.
I know it impacts your job, but do you think Jason Garrett has the right idea with the mum rule on his staff? It seems paranoid, but Bill Parcells proved to be a good coach and employed that idea.
To me, what Garrett is doing is an insult to every ticket-buying customer. Those people want to know about the club. They deserve more than something that resembles the state-controlled media apparatus of the Soviet Union , with Pravda. Plus, a good head coaches does whatever he can to advance the careers of his assistants. Garrett certainly benefitted from cultivating national media figures such as Peter King of SI. His assistants should have the same latitude. From my end, it's always adds to stories to have input from a position coach. It makes for a better product for the reader.
Any chance Jason Garrett stifles his players' Twitter accounts? Some players were pretty critical of Jay Cutler, which I've never seen before, and I know Martellus Bennett has been reprimanded for that before.
Garrett is smart enough to find ways to nudge a player away from using Twitter without making a big issue of it. As for the players ripping Cutler, they should all be ashamed of themselves. Only Cutler knew the extent of his injury, but players buried him with knee-jerk reactions. That means you, Deion Sanders. Someone who avoided contact at all costs, as Sanders did during his career, should not question the heart of another player.
Is there any word on the health of John Phillips? He seemed to be a very important part of the offense.
Good question and good point. At the end of the season, John reported that he was on scheduled and hoped to participate in off-season work. Phillips has not wasted the down time. He has all but lived in the weight room and appears to have added about 10 pounds of upper-body mass. He could be a valuable piece of the offense as a blocker alone.
Will Austin Miles return to his 2009 level or is he just an average WR with a fat contract? What's the chance that Roy Williams will be cut?
Austin got into some bad habits in terms of catching the ball. He has to break those to get back to his 2009 level. I'd say it's very likely that Roy Williams is cut. His salary is out of whack for his role of No. 3 receiver.
