Dallas Morning News writer Gerry Fraley chatted with fans and answered questions about Sunday’s game on Monday, including issues with the offensive line and the offense. Here are some highlights:

Was last night’s game an eye opener for the Cowboys and will they be able to regroup in time for Chicago?

Good question and I cannot give you a good answer. I think some internal confidence was shaken last night.

If the defense doesn’t start creating turnover and the offense doesn’t start putting up points, is there a possibility of a change of coaching staff?

I don't see an in-season coaching change. This staff has been good enough to get the club into the playoffs in two of the last three years. The defense was good last night other than again lacking in takeaways. That can change. The offense needs to take a hard look at itself. Garrett spread around the ball too much instead of getting it into the hands of the prime performers. The halfback pass from the 12 with Barber was a case of an OC trying to show of his imagination.

Does Wade Phillips lose his job if the Cowboys fail to make the playoffs?

There's always that possibility. He understands the high-pressure nature of coaching in the NFL. Given the state of the NFC East, this should be a playoff club.

What's the playing status for Kyle Kosier and Marc Colombo?

Jerry Jones said last night that he did not know their status. On Friday, Wade Phillips said there was a chance both could practice this week. They've missed a month.
