Think about it though. We currently have four OGs on the roster, all brought in in a two year period. Along with Kyle Kosier. Don't think we're going to target DeCastro in the 1st, or Glenn. After that, who is there? There's Poe, but he'll probably be taken ahead of us. Brockers as well. Quinton Coples? Eew. Courtney Upshaw is a 4-3 DE. Ingram is going to go in the top 10 probably.

Cox just makes too much sense for us.

Out of Coples/Ingram/Perry/Upshaw/Poe/Brockers/Cox I would take Fletcher last. That's just me.

I don't think he's a bad player but I just don't feel he's worth the 14th pick. I don't think he comes in and makes us that much better. I know others have him ranked high but he doesn't do too much for me. When I watch him I don't see him having a huge impact on our team. Is he better than Marcus Spears? sure. Can we get a better player or more value at 14? I think yes.

We tried so hard to get that 5 tech last year.

Loved JJ Watt. Wanted to trade back up for Cam Jordan and/or Muhammed Wilkerson.

Wouldn't suprise me one bit if we went in that direction come draft day. And I think Fletcher Cox is the best combination of talent and lowest bust factor.

Poe is an athletic phenom, but he lacks production which is a huge red flag.

That's why I had him going to us at #45. Although I may still be off a bit on where he's going I am confident we don't draft him at 14.

If we went with Poe at 14, I'd be happy with it. While he was basically a non-factor in college, his skills translate very well to the pro game and we have some excellent teachers in Brian Baker and Rob Ryan to whip him into shape.

Not really sure why you think that. The guys a good player with alot of upside and scheme flexibility.

Wouldnt be a real sexy choice at 14, but he would be a good addition.

Well, it wouldn't be a reach. Cox is a lot better than most think. He can play either OLB or DE.

He could fill a need for sure.

Noooooooo. He cannot play OLB. No, not that type of player sir. He's a 4-3 DT, 3-4 DE, maybe he could play strongside DE in a 4-3 but I don't think anyone would use him like that.
