Fisher likes O-line
With injuries to the offensive line this season, the Cowboys have at times seemed vulnerable -- at least if you pay attention to local analysis.
Titans coach Jeff Fisher said, however, that he is impressed with the Cowboys offensive line, and he didn't qualify it. When asked to assess the Cowboys offense, Fisher said on a conference call: "Clearly it starts up front. They’re very talented, they’re big, they’re very, very well coached up front and they’ve got as good of tight ends as you can find in the National Football League. And it’s a very, very productive, athletic receiving group.
"Tony’s [Romo] playing very well. He’s making good decisions. The numbers reflect that. It’s clear that in the two games there were a couple of turnovers and things that happened that cost them early in the game, the holding penalty at the end of the game against the Redskins. But this is a very very dynamic, explosive offense and they clearly dedicated themselves to a little more balance in the third game against Houston and that worked out very well for them. They ran the ball very well. This is clearly our biggest challenge of the early season from a defensive standpoint."
The Titans are playing well defensively. They are giving up an average of 17 points a game, which is tied for eighth in the league, and they are allowing 302.8 yards per game, which is ninth in the league.
