Running back Felix Jones was among several Cowboys players who didn't appear at practice on Wednesday. Jones, who leads the team in rushing with 642 yards, has been hampered by a bruised shin.

Meanwhile, linebackers Bradie James and Keith Brooking were also absent for the second consecutive day. James has been dealing with a strained ligament in his right knee since arly October, while Brooking has been bothered by a sprained left foot he injured Nov. 25 in the game against New Orleans.

James and Brooking weren't the only linebackers who didn't participate. Sean Lee also didn't practice. The rookie defender suffered a concussion on Sunday against Washington. So did Gerald Sensabaugh, who wasn't wearing a helmet or pads Wednesday.

Running back Marion Barber and receiver Roy Williams, who were inactive Sunday, both took part in practice.
