What are they, y'all? Think he blows up towards the end of the year and in the playoffs like he kind of did in '09? Or does he continue on this path of mediocrity?

Does he ultimately get put on the backburner and fade away like Tashard Choice?

I'll be honest I just don't know if Felix is going to be an elite player for us. I'm sold on Murray.

I praised Jones a lot coming out of college but he's been a disappointment. Btw, that's a kick ass avatar Bob.

The extra few days off should do him some good. He looked like he was ok vs Washington, but the other day he looked pretty sluggish.

I think we're going to mainly see him on 3rd downs the rest of the year.

I think his impact will be felt more as a kick returner than as a running back/receiver.

He's been such a disappointment. I should've known he would never amount to much after how much sbk92 rode his jock heading into the draft.

Felix Jones is better than McFadden! /sbk92

Players that come back from high ankle injuries are never the same. It’s going to take some time for him to get back to being explosive. He is now reduced to giving Murray a breather.

He's not going to be a major contributer this season. By next year, best case scenario he backs up Murray, with around 8 touches a game (not counting his kickoff returns).

My expectations have lowered considerably from what they were, which were not very high. I said around preseason that I never was impressed with Felix. If Murray hadn't come through for us this season then we'd be screwed. I agree with Maveric about what his role will be now.

They definitely do and that particular picture clearly demonstrates the feelings I have for you all as well. :)

I keep waiting for him to really become that dude we thought he was gonna be. Up til now, I've thought that the team, the Oline, was just not good enough for him to realize his potential.

Then Demarco Murray showed up and went all honey badger all over everyone and it makes me think maybe Felix just isn't on that level of consistency, talent and health.

I believe Felix is useless in a confined area. He needs to get the ball in his hands out in space which we've known for awhile, and which the coaches have talked about for awhile. Except we all have believed that that could be combined with him being an actual, every down RB. We need to erase that misconception from our mind. Felix is a utility player only, and he could be very, very good in that role.

You're gonna be our head coach one day. I can see it.

Murray's emergence spares Jerry from making the same mistake with Felix that he made with Barber, Hamlin and RW11: a fat contract extension.

They obviously love Murray and really like Phillip Tanner.

I kinda wonder if they might shop Felix Jones before the draft. I dont think they'd trade him just for the sake of trading him, but if they could get a 2nd rd pick from someone who really needed a RB and couldnt get one in round one or early round two, they might consider it.

The only way we get a 2nd is if he starts lighting it up on kick returns and comes in and does well as a change of pace back. Right now he's worth like a 5th.
