Bobby Carpenter is a Dolphin.

Cut by St. Louis on Saturday, the Dolphins signed the Cowboys' former No. 1 pick, reuniting him with Bill Parcells , Jeff Ireland , Tony Sparano & Co.

Carpenter was Parcells' final No. 1 pick with the Cowboys and the coach felt that switching Carpenter from outside to inside linebacker hurt his chances. In his only two starts under Parcells, Carpenter played well vs. Detroit and Seattle.

Carpenter had spent the 2010 training camp with the St. Louis Rams after being acquired from Dallas in a May trade that sent offensive tackle Alex Barron to the Cowboys.

Barron made the Cowboys' final roster. Carpenter never made the Rams.

Dallas made Carpenter the 18th overall selection in the 2005 NFL Draft and in four seasons with the Cowboys, he recorded 96 tackles and three and a half sacks over 58 games.

Parcells is so stupid. He so hellbent on getting his old players, no matter how much they may suck. He did the same thing here in Dallas.

The arrogant schmuck was running on an empty tank here. He's running on fumes now.

I was never a Barbie Carpenter fan, but if anyone can get the best out of him, it would be the Miami staff.
