IRVING, Texas - Fans attending Sunday's game might want to get their snacks and other concessions before the end of the second quarter this week.

The halftime entertainment at Cowboys Stadium will honor Emmitt Smith, the NFL's all-time leading rusher and member of the newest Pro Football Hall of Fame Class.

At halftime of Sunday's game with the Lions, Smith will be presented with his Hall of Fame ring in a ceremony led by team owner Jerry Jones, who also presented Smith at the Hall of Fame ceremony in Canton, Ohio back in August.

Smith's Hall of Fame bust will also be on display and expect many of the Cowboys' Hall of Fame greats, along with other teammates of Smith, to be in attendance as well.

Some of Smith's major accomplishments, other than his NFL-leading 18,355 rushing yards, include leading the Cowboys to three Super Bowls in a four-year span, leading the NFL in rushing four different times and rushing for more than 1,000 yards in an NFL-record 11 straight seasons. Smith was also named NFL MVP in 1993 and MVP of Super Bowl XXVIII.

Smith is the 10th former Cowboys player to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, joining Bob Lilly, Rayfield Wright, Bob Hayes, Mel Renfro, Roger Staubach, Randy White, Tony Dorsett, Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin. Tom Landry and Tex Schramm are also in the Hall of Fame.
