I'm just assuming since the Eagles are notorious for letting vets go who still have some mileage on them.

Not really. The Eagles and Patriots are masters at suckering people out of draft picks for overrated players that happen to have excelled in their system. While they might have some mileage left on them, those vets rarely perform at the same level once outside of the Esagles' and Patritos' systems. That's why I would never trade for a player from either of those teams.
