Eagles' QB Vick routs Cowboys' LB Ware in Madden contest

Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick routed Dallas Cowboys' outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware in the on-going competition to be the next player on the cover of the video game EA Sports Madden '12.

Each of the 32 teams had a player in the contest, determined by on-line voting. Vick received 76 percent of the vote in the first-round win over Ware. Only Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan recevied a larger percentage of the vote. Ryan had 89 percent of the vote in his win over Cleveland running back Peyton Hillis.

Maybe, just maybe that people voted for Vick, because they want Vick to be subjected to the so-called Madden Cover Curse. And I think that could possibly hold true as to why people voted for Ware, because he is a Dallas Cowboy and their best player and they would love to see him injured and derail the Cowboys. Hell! Just go on over to ESPN, Redskins' fans were urging each other to vote for Ware, and you know what homers they are.
