I'm torn on the direction of this team this offseason.
I'm sick of watching the quality of play at both safety positions. It's been ignored for far too many years.
Then again, we have to take into account who is evaluating the talent on this team and his track record in doing so.

He's bigger than Ratliff. That size stuff is overrated, if you have power and desire you can do work in the middle. Trouble is he might not have either anymore. If he did I suspect he'd be signed right now, dude was a beast a few years ago.

We'll still watch/root eventhough it kinda looks like the same ole song and dance this year. We'll just have to hope Garrett/Ryan will have a huge impact on their sides of the ball.
No upgrades anywhere yet, imo. Smith will be an upgrade over Columbo eventually, but he's a rook and I'm expecting some bumps in the road at first.
