Cowboys defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni was one of many coaches included in a report by the Hartford Courant that examined possible candidates for the coaching vacancy at the University of Connecticut.
The position opened when Randy Edsall left to become the head coach at the University of Maryland on Monday. Pasqualoni, a native of Cheshire, Conn., was a head coach at Western Connecticut and Southern Connecticut. He also has established ties to the Big East. For 14 years, Pasqualoni served as the head coach at Syracuse.
