Redskins OLB Brian Orakpo was fined $15,750 by the NFL for an illegal hit on Josh McCown in Week 7.
Orakpo unloaded on McCown and went high before driving him into the ground. In 2011, Orakpo was fined $15,000 for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Michael Vick. He's not in danger of an NFL suspension, although SS Brandon Meriweather has been banned for Week 8 for an accumulation of illegal hits. The Redskins aren't just playing bad defense, they're playing dirty defense.
