Sorry that I've been away so long, but it's the busy time of the year for me, when I become a hermit and get on the phones and call all of my sources. Anyways, a good friend of mine, who works for the Buffalo Bills, and who has never steered me wrong in source wars told me last night that he's hearing Dallas is waiting for the dust to settle, and when it does, they're going to sign Donald Driver to solidify that pesky #3 slot. A 1 year contract for 2.5 mil is the figure being bandied about. Our WR coach Jimmy Robinson really likes him and has been badgering the FO about signing him, but was told that the time just isn't right. That they're waiting for the ink to dry on the deals they've just consummated, during which they'll be soaking their hands in ice buckets from all the handshaking that's been done the past 96 hours.

Thanks.

The Bills, huh?

And if we sign Driver isn't that just another stop gap signing? I mean we are all hard up about our young pups and all.

Nate Livings turned 30 today.

And to answer your question, it was recently confirmed to me that this is what's going to happen.

I'd take Driver as a stopgag type guy. He's still a good player and he could help us out I think. Take a WR fairly high in the '13 draft
