Dez Bryant has already picked up the tab on one big meal this season.
He's about to pay for another, but this one should be more modest.
After Bryan McCann was called up to the active roster, he and Bryant had a bet on who would be the first to return a kick for a touchdown. McCann won with his 97-yard punt return against Detroit, a kick that was designed for Bryant to return.
"We made a bet on who would return a kickoff first to the house,'' McCann said. "It was funny. I was messing with him that yeah, and it was on your return that I took it.
"He was cool. We're good friends and teammates.''
Chances are the bill will come in well under $55,000, which was the tab the last time Bryant took his teammates out to dinner.
