Dez Bryant, Felix Jones both practice
IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant dressed for practice Friday for the first time since suffering a bruised quadriceps in the season opener.
Center Phil Costa (knee) and running back Felix Jones (shoulder) also returned to practice Friday after sitting out Thursday.
Bryant missed the Cowboys' Week 2 win over the San Francisco 49ers, when he was ruled out after attempting to run before the game at Candlestick Park. His status for the Cowboys' Monday night game against the Washington Redskins remains in question.
Bryant had three catches for 71 yards and a touchdown on the Cowboys' first two series of the season opener against the Jets, but he was shut out the remainder of the game. He sustained the bruise on a punt return before the second series.
The Cowboys will announce whether Bryant was a full or limited participant when they release the official injury report Friday afternoon. He was talking to associate athletic trainer Britt Brown as the media access period ended.
Quarterback Tony Romo did not practice for the second consecutive day despite a CT scan taken Thursday indicating his punctured lung has healed. His availability for Monday will be determined by his ability to handle the pain of playing with a fractured rib, and Romo has said pain will not sideline him.
Receiver Miles Austin (hamstring), offensive guard Derrick Dockery (knee) and cornerback Orlando Scandrick (ankle) did not practice and aren't expected to play against the Redskins.
