DeMarcus Ware Wishes He Could Share Super Bowl With Cowboys
DeMarcus Ware was released from the Cowboys in 2012 and is now celebrating a Super Bowl victory as a Denver Bronco.
You’d think that Ware would be perfectly satisfied with being a Denver Bronco, but you may be sad mistaken. Ware has mentioned that he doesn’t understand why the Cowboys let him go, and when all is said and done, he’d really love to come and retire with the Cowboys.
Ware also shared how he wished a certain two Cowboys were there with him. “I wish Jason Witten was here,” said Ware. “Or Tony Romo was here.”
“I thought I was always going to be a Dallas Cowboy. That was really, really big for me. I played well for nine years, so I never thought that they would get rid of me. You know, before, and just talking to Jerry, we talked about that. He’s just like, ‘You know what, I want you to be able to come back here and retire as a Dallas Cowboy.’ That’s a big goal of mine
Although Ware was hindered by injuries during his time with the Cowboys, he ultimately made 574 tackles, 117 sacks, 32 forced fumbles and a couple of interceptions. Because of that, we could understand why Ware would be a little confused about the sudden letting go of him.
We’re pretty sure Ware isn’t complaining or worrying about that today!
