I refuse to believe the diagnosis on DeMarco's injury until I hear from Dr. Jerry Jones.

Well at least we dont' have Wade diagnosing injuries anymore...

Wade: "aw, he'll be fine. Just a sprain."

...12 hours later...

Media: "so and so is out 6 weeks."

Hamstring to keep Murray out after deal reached
July, 28, 2011 7:14 PM CT
By Todd Archer

SAN ANTONIO -- The Cowboys remain hopeful that their final two draft picks will reach deals Thursday, but neither Bruce Carter nor DeMarco Murray will be on the practice field anytime soon.

Carter, a second-round pick, is coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered last year at North Carolina, and while his rehab has progressed, he will open camp on the non-football injury list. Murray, however, could miss a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury suffered in workouts.

Murray, a third-round pick, is being looked upon as a big contributor to the offense and special teams this season, so the injury will set him back even more considering there were no mini-camp practices or organized team activities in the offseason because of the lockout.

In the afternoon practice, second-year safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah suffered from a cramp in his calf and had to leave practice early. It is not considered serious.

Murray injured?

Shocking.

Brian Martin, CEO of TEST Football Academies where dozens of NFL players trained during the lockout, believes there will be an increase in injuries across the NFL due to lack of offseason condition:

"The most common injuries will be pulled muscles, hamstrings and groins primarily, due to lack of preparation. Players need to lengthen and strengthen muscles in the offseason to be ready for the rigors of the NFL."

A rookie without time to prepare properly, physically, yeah.

Better now than later...but if he's really out two weeks, probably means he will miss the preseason opener

This is probably good for Tashard Choice and his fans

Trust me... this won't be the last time he's injured. He's made of glass.
