For Mike Jenkins, the 2010 season has been a disappointment. He has given up big plays, made only one interception and has experienced a rapid decline in performance since earning an invitation to the Pro Bowl last year. But Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said Jenkins shouldn't feel despondent.
"You've got to have a short memory," Hall said. "You're going up against some of the best athleteson the field in these wide receivers. They know where they're going. We don't know where they're going.
"They're running full-speed forwards. We're running full-speed backwards. We have to react to everything they do. So, the reality is you're not going to win every one of those battles."
Hall went on to praise the Cowboys cornerback, saying he liked "his game."
"He's came a long way in his two years he's been in the league and going into this year, his third year," added Hall, who is in his seventh season. "I think he's played good football. He kind of reminds me of myself when I first got in the league."
