DB Bush Visiting Cards; 'Boys Take Step Back

After the busiest start to free agency in franchise history, the Cowboys front office has finally taken a breather.
The team signed eight players last week, including four on the first full day, but has been silent since Friday, with no signings or free agent visits over the weekend or on Monday.
The Cowboys had some interest in Green Bay Packers defensive back Jarrett Bush, but their pursuit of him has cooled. Bush is visiting the Arizona Cardinals on Monday, per a Scout.com report.
Bush, 27, has spent all all six of his pro seasons with Green Bay after going undrafted out of Southern Cal in 2006. He has played both cornerback and safety in his career.
Multiple reports have linked the Cowboys to another Packers free agent, outside linebacker Erik Walden, but the club is not pursuing their former 2008 sixth-round pick out of Middle Tennessee State.
Walden was released out of training camp as a rookie and spent time with the Chiefs and Dolphins before signing with Green Bay midway through 2010. He started two games for the Packers that year, registering 3.0 sacks in a Week 17 game against the Bears, earning NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors. He then went on to start 15 games for Green Bay in 2011.
For right now, the Cowboys are not planning any visits.
The team is still monitoring the market and could be open to more veteran signings, however.
