Mike Jenkins doesn't really want to talk about last week, when he says he wasn't focused enough, and was caught off guard by Tennessee coming out and throwing the ball so much early on.
He's eager to put the two pass interference calls and the deep pass to Kenny Britt behind him, but knows he's got his work cut out to make sure it doesn't happen again.
This week the Cowboys corners draw perhaps the toughest coverage assignment in the league, Randy Moss, a guy whose No. 84 Vikings jersey Jenkins admit to owning when he was younger, a guy he said presents a kind of dream matchup. Moss and Terrell Owens were the two guys Jenkins was most looking forward to facing when he came into the league.
Jenkins said it's easy to forget about last week with such a difficult challenge coming right away.
"It's a good week to come back on," Jenkins said. "I was going to put (last week) behind me no matter what. I don't dwell on it. It's a week that, it's just something you go through, just something you go through. It's like having a good week. You can't come in off that good week thinking that. You'll just have a bad week.
"I'm definitely looking forward for this week. It's not just him, it's Brett Favre too, watching those guys growing up."
