What's his story? I know he's raw and shit, but is he someone that can be relied on to build this line around?

Start in 2012 with Free at RT, Smith at LT, rookie center (or Kowalski at worst), rookie mauler guard, and maybe Arkin?

Someone tweet beat-writers and find out what the story with this kid is.

If only we had a Hostile here to tell us what guys "he trusts" are telling him.

I like the idea of switching the tackles. As far as Arkin I'm not sure yet. I 'd have to see a complete off season to determine this.

Full OTAs, mini camps and TC. I Kowalski but I wouldn't hesistate to draft a kid like Konz. Our interior line needs help.

Tyron Smith has played lights out this year. Not many mistakes from this kid. Kosier needs to go, Holland is okay but I'd still like to see a couple of guards drafted or signed as free agents.

i think he is just not ready after playing at a small program. Lot of time for him to come around.

the bigger question to me is where the hell was bruce carter. Thats a 2nd round pick and he cant get on the field in obvious passing situations in the most critical game of the year. So bradie james ends up chasing ballard for 20 yard receptions he is not even close on.

2nd round pick cant get on the field? Why the hell did we draft him then?

@DCUforums There is now no doubt in my mind that you will see Smith playing left tackle next season + Free at RT. Scouts looking for OGs

Guards and Center hopefully. Kowalski should not just be annointed like Costa was.

At least with Kowalski they would have some actual game film to go on. I'm kinda hoping he gets the remainder of the season to start at C this year.

Isn't the knock on Costa he's a tad small with short arms?

How big is Kowalski in comparison?

My knock on Kowalski is that the same staff who thinks Costa is starter material also thinks Costa is ahead of Kowalski. I have very little faith in their evaluations the past few years.

Costa is getting one-handed shoved out of plays and the staff still thinks "Yep, he's our best option at center."

Looks like he has a good frame, but like Arkin and Nagy probably will benefit greatly from a yr or two in our weight program with Woicik

A guy I trust says the Cowboys like David Arkin, but they continue to be impressed with the development of Travis Bright. Don't be suprised if Bright is a starter along the line in 2012.
