On his reaction to 'wild stuff' that Jerry Jones says?

Darren Woodson: Jerry looks at this team like they're one or two players away all the time. As a football player, you love the fact that he's optimistic all the time. You feel the passion of what Jerry wants to accomplish. As a media personality, now, a guy who's outside looking in, there's so many question marks on this football team.

On Jerry Jones' comments about Terence Newman:

Darren Woodson: You gotta listen to the tone. When Jerry has that slow pace to him, that means you're cut. It doesn't matter what's going on. Injuries or whatnot, we're letting you go. When he slows down and you can really understand what he's saying, you're cut.

I've said it before. I'd love to see Woodson leave ESPN take a management/scouting position with us, and then work his way up to General Manager. I know this will sound Hostile'ish but I've been to a ton of coaching seminars/camps/clinics and listen to a lot of these guys talk. Darren Woodson is one of the sharpest I've heard or seen. I thought Jim Harbaugh was one of the most self-loving, arrogant guys I had ever seen but he was incredibly motivated and knew how to push his players. I knew he'd be very good NFL coach when I met him. I got a similar vibe from Woodson, just without the arrogance.
