Dan Snyder expresses his hatred for the Giants
Posted by Curtis Crabtree on December 4, 2012, 1:08 AM EST

The Washington Redskins 17-16 win over the New York Giants on Monday night was a big victory for a team trying to claw back into the playoff race. The fact it was a win over a division rival, the third straight win over an NFC East foe, made it all the sweeter.

Yet, it seemed to mean a little bit more to Redskins’ owner Dan Synder.

Snyder was excited after the game and congratulating everyone in the Redskins locker room according to Robert Klemko of the USA Today. It was what he told a team staffer that stood out.

“I hate those motherf——,” Snyder said of the Giants.

After losing 10 of 11 games to New York from 2006-2010 and watching their division rival win two Super Bowls in the last five years, it’s understandable Snyder would feel some animosity toward the Giants. Now that the Redskins have won three of the last four games from New York, the feeling may be becoming mutual (if it wasn’t already).

And as a couple commenters have pointed out, Giants’ owner John Mara’s involvement with assessing a $36 million salary cap penalty to the Redskins could have a little something to do with it as well.

Chris Snee does not seem to care for Dan Snyder’s opinion
Posted by Darin Gantt on December 4, 2012, 10:53 AM EST

Dan Snyder’s not the only one who can prfanely profess his distaste for an opponent.

After Snyder loudly proclaimed “I hate those motherf——” in the wake of his team’s win over the Giants last night, word spread quickly.

“I could give two [bleeps] what Daniel Snyder has to say,” Giants center Chris Snee said, via Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post. “I’ve heard lots of things about people hating him too. Including people that work for him.”

Tight end Martellus Bennett said: “I don’t even know who that is.”

Informed it was the Redskins owner, Bennett said: “Everybody has some type of feeling.”

“I don’t have any disdain for that team,” punter Steve Weatherford said. “I think they played a great game. [Quarterback Robert Griffin III] is really classy, and I think for the most part, I think they’re a classy team.”

Leave it to the special teamers to take the high road.

That doesn't surprise me, Martellus.

Wouldn't suprise me if Bennett made his harmless comment because, well, he signed a 1 year deal with New York, and the Redskins starting TE tore his achilles.

You don't want to mock Snyder, if you have hopes of possibly becoming a rich Redskin in 2013.
