IRVING — Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant suffered a sprained left foot late in the fourth quarter Sunday against the New York Giants.

Bryant caught a short pass out to the left flat and his foot was hurt when Giants safety Ryan Mundy came down on his lower left leg when making the tackle.

Bryant wasn’t in a walking boot Monday at Valley Ranch. He was able to finish Sunday’s game.

“We don’t think it’s a too, too serious thing,” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Monday. “We’ve just got to see the extent of the injury.”

Bryant broke the index finger on his left hand in early December last season and played through the injury the rest of the year.

If he is not in a walking boot even for precaution measures it can't be that serious?

FWIW, Dunbar says Bryant is moving around fine and walking without any issues.

It's not like they use his ass anyway.

He usually plays well against the Giants, but it is hard to make plays Romo doesn't throw it to him. I expected much more from him , but this seems to be a dink and dunk offense with Callahan calling plays. The more time Romo has in the pocket, the shorter the passes seem to be. This was against a Giants secondary that was considered one of their weaknesses. I hope this changes. No downfield passing attempts makes the WRs seem like a waste. Ross is not that damn good in coverage.

Jon keeps saying "thanks romo".

It was a standard dig route, Dez turned to go upfield and had his feet wrapped up and twisted awkwardly as he was tackled.

How is that Romo's problem?

WR Dez Bryant MRI indicates mild foot sprain. Cowboys expect him to play vs KC but unsure how much he will practice this week with injury

Cowboys got good news on Dez Bryant MRI results, per team official, they came back negative and he should play against Chiefs as expected

I gotta say, I thought Dez's reaction to the Giants game was rather mature .... that he wasn't especially bothered that he didn't see many balls due to being double / triple covered (because it opened up opportunities for teammates).

I guess what I'm saying is that it is nice that Dez isn't one of those prima donna WRs.

He shouldn't care about catches, especially if the team wins. This game is all about wins and losses, not stats.

Unless, of course he's on your fantasy team.

Right, it's not Romo's fault. Just like it wasn't his fault on that int when he threw to Williams. People were blaming him there too.
