Dallas Cowboys defense out of excuses

ARLINGTON -- Kinder, gentler people are inclined to use the word "explanation."

Individuals who are more direct and, perhaps, slightly harsher prefer the word "excuse."

Whatever the preference, the fact is the Dallas Cowboys ran out of explanations and excuses Sunday. The team that would become the first to host a Super Bowl is instead in the running to get the No. 1 pick in the 2011 Draft.

Maybe they can move that event to Cowboys Stadium.lol

Yep. The Defense was good, but never a unit that dominated. It's a unit that's been built on the principle of bend, but don't break, and it's broken.

The O has always been a great inconsistency because of the shaky line play.

They were excellent the 2nd half of 2008 after Wade dumped Stewart and took over the defense. They were outstanding at the end of last yr.

But other than a couple of flashes, its been dreadful this year. Just no excuse for it either.
