Gronkowski, rayner, olshansky and grahm.

We are keeping two kickers for now apparently.

Very interested in ilb, wr and corner. and of course choice.

geathers made the team.

Gronkowski, not surprising. Was so-so at best.

Rayner, came in too late in the game. If he'd been around another week or two he'd have had a chance, especially if we're keeping two kickers.

Disappointing that Olshansky's gone, especially with Spears taking up space...

I like Geathers, glad they found a way to keep him.

Orie lemon also cut.

I am really interested if we chase an ilb down that is cut from someone else....I still think we need a punt returner and a kick returner

The browns cut CB Coye Francis, a 2009 6th rounder who played the last two years under Rob Ryan...

not sure if we would have any interest or if he is better than ball, butler or thomas but I am interested in guys getting cut today that fit the defensive and offensive schemes we have.

Seems like a guy that would just be a push at the position. I'd rather see us find out what Thomas & Butler are all about, not to mention more from McCann.

Yeah I imagine that will be the case. I am just simply interested in guys who get cut who have some ability and some relation to either the offensive or defensive scheme.

Options are good and this team needs players.

I think Gronkowski mssing those two key blocks that ended both Romo and Dez's season, are still fresh on their minds. He needed to have a strong camp.

And you're sick on Olshansy. Apparently, you haven't been watching the preseason. Olshansky stunk it up.

Gronkowski needed an average camp and he couldn't even manage that.

He's been bad this preseason, yes. But Spears is nothing, and he's still around. How he's extended much less even here still astounds me.

Spears is a pretty good 3-4 run stuffing DE....He can't pass rush for blank but we will need him against teams like the Jets.

Spears, IMO, is huge for run defense. We had to resign him.

Olshansky has been bad all of last season as well. I'm sure going to muiss his celebrations when he tackles a guy that got the first down and were down 20 points in the game.

Spears is not much on pas rush, but he's a hell of a run blocker and we saw how important he is to our run defense when he wasn't playing against the Vikings.

Point on Spears. I guess I still judge him by the fact that he was a first round pick, and a de that's only good at playing the run isn't exactly first round material, and imo shouldn't be paid like one.

He isn't being paid like one. His former backup (Bowens) now over with the Redskins, is making more than him. And that's what 3-4 DEs do: they play the run and occupy the blockers, so that the OLBs and ILBs can make plays. Olshansky didn't even do that all too well.
