Cruz says Scandrick holds on every play
Posted by Mike Florio on November 25, 2013, 2:29 PM EST

After Sunday’s win by the Cowboys over the Giants, Dallas cornerback Orlando Scandrick had plenty to say about their rivals from New York.

Receiver Victor Cruz also had plenty to say about Scandrick.

“He always holds on every play,” Cruz said of Scandrick, via Jordan Ranaan of NJ.com. “It’s always borderline whether it was pass interference or holding or whatever. I just don’t think about that and understand that he is going to do that and play through.”

Easier said than done, as evidenced by the fact that Cruz had only two catches for 27 yards on Sunday, a far cry from his five-reception, 118-yard, three-touchdown effort in Week One.

“You just have to understand what you’re coming into and what type of player he is,” Cruz said. “You watch him on the field, he grabs and holds on everyone. You just have to be able to battle through it and get yourself open.”

Cruz lost the battle on Sunday. The Giants lost the war. And the season is likely lost.

Yeah, their OL has kinda been holding Ware for 8 years. Its probably been called 2 or 3 times total.

Regarding Claiborne..I hate when he gets up and gestures like he is shutting down the WR when the ball is thrown way over his head or out of bounds.

Just play football, get better, stay healthy, and shut up.

CRY ME A FUCKIN RIVER DUDE YOU GOT PAID THIS OFF SEASON

I really don't like Claibornes attitude either - for number 6 pick he should be shutting out the other teams best WR

They all do...

The good ones don't flagged as much as the scrubs...(See Claiborne)
Pretty much, but he's good about holding without getting his arms extended or turning the WR, which they'll never call. I bet he learned it from Carr, to be honest.
