Tim Cowlishaw, columnist for SportsDayDFW.com and The Dallas Morning News, stopped by to chat and answers questions on Wednesday.
Here are some of the interesting things he had to say:
JG does not reveal much during his talks to the media, have you heard what kind of a coach/personality does he have with his players?
"Doesn't reveal much?" That would be an understatement, Anthony. He doesn't say anything and works hard to achieve that. I know there are players that don't particularly care for his personality. And that's a good thing, not a bad thing.
I know Jerry wants to fill the seats by putting Romo back into the game, but why don't we start our young guys and see how they perform?
How does he need to fill seats? All I ever hear from Jerry-haters is how they aren't going to games and that will show him. There were 85,000 people there Sunday night. There will be another 80,000 there for Redskins Sunday. There's no message to Jerry from fans that he needs to change anything. They show up for games week after week.
Name the top 5 position changes the Cowboys need to make next year?
Replacing Jenkins at corner, replacing at least one safety, Lee for Brooking, anyone for Barber, Dez for Roy. I got to 5 without reaching the offensive line. Guess there will be a lot more than 5. I remember when I thought Buehler was maybe the team's biggest problem.
Who gets traded first and for what/whom: Marion Barber or Michael Young?
Well, that's not even close. I don't see Young getting traded but he has value as a player even if he's oversalaried. Barber has no value.
