Wide receiver Kevin Ogletree should make his second start Monday night against Washington.

Maybe that will make up for being lighter in the pocket.

The league has fined Ogletree $7,500 for his facemask penalty on cornerback Tarell Brown in the Cowboys win over San Francisco. After catching a pass from Jon Kitna in the third quarter, the receiver tried to pick up extra yardage with a stiff arm but wound up grabbing Brown's facemask.

The penalty knocked 15 yards off a 33-yard reception and put the ball on the San Francisco 41-yard line. Kitna was intercepted three plays later to thwart the scoring drive.

Expect Ogletree to appeal the fine.

Ogletree, by the way, caught two passes for 50 yards in his first start against the 49ers.

"It was great for my conditioning and great for my experience, especially with the win,'' Ogletree said.

Since when do facemask penalities draw fines? I don't have a problem with it, but I've never heard of that before.

Ogletree's was bad, worse than most.

Yeah..I've never heard of a fine for that. It was obvious but it was not intentional. He was trying to stiff arm the player to get away and he got the facemask. Penalty? Yes. Fine? That's stupid.

At full speed I thought it was a normal stiff arm, but it was pretty bad. The only thing he didn't do was rip the helmet off. He held on for dear life, though.

He gets fined 7500 for a facemask where there was no intent to hurt the guy at all.

Cullen Jenkins basically speared Matt Ryan in the helmet with his helmet the other night. He didnt draw a flag or a fine.

Charles Woodson threw a blatant punch that officials saw in week one (he was flagged) but instead of getting the automatic kick out of the game, he was allowed to stay in. Then he got a 10k fine.

Did he try to punch a white guy?

Hopefully Ogletree is hit with his walking papers next. Here's to Holley being the new 3rd WR and Harris and Robinson getting their shots as well.
