After the special teams' portion of today's practice at Valley Ranch, David Buehler, Mat McBriar, L.P. Ladouceur and kicking consultant Chris Boniol will head to Cowboys Stadium for extra kicking.

Buehler said he has been told the roof and doors will be open for Sunday's game against Tennessee, so he wants to get used to whatever wind will be inside the stadium.

"With Texas you never know what you're going to get weather-wise," Buehler said. "It could be gusty or it could be calm but we'll go over and get a feel for it today."

Late last season when the end-zone doors were open there was a noticeable breeze inside the stadium, which would swirl when the roof was open. For the home opener this year the roof and doors were closed and Buehler missed from 44 yards but had makes from 28 and 48 yards. He has made his last three kicks overall, all coming from at least 40 yards.

"Personally I'd rather have it be closed but it's not my call," Buehler said. "I just have to deal with it."

Because of preparations for the Texas A&M-Arkansas game on Saturday, the Cowboys will not practice at their stadium on Friday. The last practice at Cowboys Stadium, before the home opener against Chicago, was a slipshod affair.
