It doesn't appear there will be a flurry of free agency action before Thursday night's CBA deadline, but the Cowboys did make a move to add depth to their linebacker position on Tuesday.
The team agreed to a contract with 23-year-old Isaiah Greenhouse, a 6-2, 234-pounder who had been in the Houston Texans organization since going undrafted last April. He played in two games for Houston last year without registering any stats, and was released when the team brought Brian Cushing back from suspension.
Greenhouse returned to the Houston practice squad, but was released along with four other players on Feb. 18.
Greenhouse played collegiately at Northwestern (La.) State. He totaled 10 tackles in the preseason last year.
The Cowboys were needing to add numbers to their linebacking corps after apparently deciding not to tender Leon Williams, a special-teamer last season.
