For your money, what game sticks out as the best matchup to you going back as far as you can remember?

Not my best moment as a Cowboys fan, but we were expected to win that game.

The best Cowboys win over the Redskins is this game by far.

Yeah, the Aikman to Rocket overtime season opener in 99.

They've got the real bragging rights in this since they beat us in the Championship games.

The Rocket opener was Snyder's first regular season game. He was so giddy until we came back on em in the fourth quarter.

That was a perfect set up on that overtime play. Perfect down and distance for a playaction, especially with #22 back there, everyone expected it to be a run.

Also, if you look at Smith before the snap, that could have easily been called a false start. He starts to lean a split second before the ball is snapped.

Yeah, the defense definitely bit on the play action. They thought Emmitt was running it. lol

He does start to shift forward.

Another classic example of us cheating and never getting called for it.

Are you serious? We have to play a nearly perfect game every time while the other team gets away with murder.

Wow, what a game.....That was great seeing Mark Tuinei in there. I didn't realize that he played back in the early eighties......maybe his rookie year?

You guys see that resetting the line does before the snap in that video of the early 80's?

That's why I became a Cowboys fan. When I was knee high, I thought that was cool.

Like others have said . . . the '99 season opener was fantastic.

By the way . . . I'm so giddy it's football week. I can't believe the season is finally upon us. Off-seasons are dreadfully long.

I'll never forget that opening 3rd and long Irvin converted.

That got me pumped.

I'll go ahead and hi-jack this thread with my score prediction:

Dallas 28
Washington 9

I think Washingon, with their lack of skill position talent and handicap at QB will have a hard time scoring points all year.
