Cowboys to put seven practice squad

IRVING, Texas -- The Cowboys have agreed to add seven players to their practice squad and could fill the last spot early in the week.
Wide receiver Teddy Williams, linebacker Orie Lemon, cornerback Mario Butler, fullback Shaun Chapas, safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah and fullback/linebacker Isaiah Greenhouse were among the final cuts Saturday who were brought back to the practice squad on Sunday.
Wide receiver Andre Holmes, who visited Valley Ranch before the draft, will also join the practice squad. He was among Minnesota’s final cuts but did not catch a pass in the Aug. 27 preseason game against the Cowboys.
