Cowboys' O-line given ultimatum

The Dallas offensive line is on notice. Offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Bill Callahan didn't even try to defend the indefensible. He came right out and stated the obvious about the horrendous play of the Dallas Cowboys' offensive line the past two weeks against the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They have had too many flags, allowed too many hits on battered quarterback Tony Romo and given up too many tackles for losses to bog down the running game. ... Right guard Mackenzy Bernadeau has been put on notice that his play must improve or the Cowboys will consider replacing him with veteran backup Derrick Dockery. Bernadeau was one of two free-agent guards the Cowboys targeted and signed in the off-season.

I agree, that was discouraging against the Giants that night, and that missed block is probably why we didnt convert on that 4th and inches.

Still, if Free cant play any better than he has these first 3 games, you have to bench him.

Title is misleading.

Callahan went out the other day and said he respected his guys too much to call them out in the media. So by no means was there this ultimatum thrown out.

Besides, all it says is if Berny doesn't play better, the team will "consider" playing Dockery instead.

Well.. duh.

I really dont get amped over a player benching anyway. I'll get amped if the offense starts performing like it should be.
