Don't hold out any hope of seeing the outtakes from Cam Newton's interview with the Cowboys at the NFL Scouting Combine popping up on YouTube.

This year, the club has decided not to videotape their talks with prospects, a departure from previous practices.

"I think we have always done a lot of interviews here, which I think is the most important part of the (combine) we do," Jerry Jones said Friday. "We got a good plan with everybody involved here to get the right information. We won't be taping those interviews. We have taped them in the past."

Jones said the team wanted to take the pressure off of the players and team personnel in the room.

"We will be taking the notes of the interviewers and having a real informal process," Jones said. "We will see how that works."

Last year a controversy evolved from the intrusive questions Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland asked to incoming rookie Dez Bryant at the combine. By not taping the interview sessions, the Cowboys decrease the risks of their private chats being leaked to the public.

By focusing on the notes taken by the team staff members in the room, perhaps the Cowboys are even able to better evaluate their own scouts.
