Boys to add Texas Tech-ex to practice squad
December, 27, 2011
By Todd Archer
IRVING, Texas -- The Cowboys will fill their final practice squad spot with offensive tackle Brandon Carter, a Texas Tech-ex.
Carter was cut by Tampa Bay on Aug. 29 after playing one game for the Buccaneers last year. He originally signed as an undrafted free agent with New Orleans 2010.
Carter started 40 of his 49 games at Texas Tech and was an All-Big 12 pick as a senior in 2009. He replaced running back Chauncey Washington, who was promoted to the active roster last week.
