We've talked a lot here about what lengths the Cowboys should go to in order to re-sign guys like Gerald Sensabaugh, Marcus Spears, Kyle Kosier, Stephen Bowen and Jason Hatcher, but right now every team in the league has similar concerns.

Whatever the Cowboys lose in free agency, they might benefit just as much by other teams, specifically some within the NFC East, losing talent as well. There's one unrestricted free agent in particular who they should hope to see gone.

Since signing with Washington in 2005, Santana Moss has been an absolute Cowboys killer - it started with his very first game against the team, Week 2 of that season, when he hauled in two late Hail Mary passes from Mark Brunell to shock them.

Moss' success against the Cowboys has only continued since. In 11 games against them as a Redskin, he has caught 68 passes for 990 yards and six touchdowns. In 2010 he had six catches for 77 yards against the Cowboys in the season opener, then eight grabs for 72 yards and two scores in Arlington in Week 15, a narrow Cowboys victory.

Now 32, it's difficult to place Moss' value on the open market. He had 93 catches for 1,115 yards and six touchdowns last year, but the speed and quickness that has made him so good for so long won't be with him forever. The Redskins are fairly thin at receiver anyway, and would be doubly so if they allowed Moss to get away.

But the Cowboys surely have their fingers crossed.

I want Santana Moss to stay in Washington. Please resign him. He's done. His worst years are ahead of him. While the Cowboys, Giants and Eagles are throwing to elite young WRs, I want the Redskins to tailor their offense around a declining undersized speed receiver.

I agree, let Washington resign him, his days of burning our secondary are almost over.

Plus, Armstrong is the one we should have to worry about.

Damn. I was hoping this was an article about Steve Smith going somewhere.

I'm with everyone but Midswat. Let the Skins hang on to him. Moss doesn't worry me much anymore.

Santana Moss should be giving Roy "biscuit" Williams 10 percent of his earnings for making him famous on monday night. Pathetic.

That 2005 MNF game was a nightmare. We dominated that entire game - and then the same play got us back to back. Unreal.

They should call him Newman-killer

Hardly. Moss didn't become a "Cowboy-killer", until that ROF game. We can thank Parcells for that. Newman had shut Moss down for the entire game, then Gibbs moved Moss to the other side, while Parcells didn't follow suit and had Glenn covering Moss. The rest is history. He only had one other game similar to tha tone and then all the rest he was somewhat pedestrian.

If we would ever figure out how to cover him it wouldn't be a problem. That big idiot that Jones hired never could figure it out.

I bet you morons still think Roy Williams was responsible for that play.
