This isn't major news, but the Cowboys hired Walt Williams as their new assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Williams will join Mike Woicik, with whom he worked in New England.
"He played at Grambling," coach Jason Garrett said. "He played in the league four or five years. Part of his team was in New England and then he spent some time with Mike as an intern up there in the offseason."
Joe Juraszek was the strength and conditioning coach until a health issue forced him to leave the organazation. Tony Ollison was the assistant strength and conditioning coach last season and replaced Juraszek late in the year when he took a leave of absence.
Ollison, like Juraszek, will not return this year.
