IRVING -- Not only was there a dress code for road games, the Cowboys have one for home games as well.

Players are required to wear slacks, collared shirt and dress shoes for Sunday's game vs. the Detroit Lions at Cowboys Stadium.

And guess what? Cowboys officials are telling players not to wear sneakers and jeans to Arlington.

For road games, players are required to wear a blazer, collared shirt, tie, slacks and dress shoes.

What the Cowboys wear became a subject of debate after starting running back Marion Barber wore sneakers and jeans for the road game against the New York Giants.

Multiple sources said Barber was fined for his failure to comply with the dress code.
