If and when free agency begins, the Dallas Cowboys will have fewer in-house matters to deal with than the other clubs in the NFC East.

According to information from the National Football League Players Association, the Cowboys currently have 11 players with at least three years service time on the roster. Under the soon-to-expire collective bargaining agreement, players received restricted free agency with three years of service time. The service-time requirements could change with the next labor deal.

The New York Giants lead the NFC East in potential free agents with 20. Philadelphia has 17 potential free agents, with Washington at 15.

The Cowboys' potential free agents with their service time:

S Alan Ball 3 years
OT Alex Barron 6 years
DE Stephen Bowen 5 years
OT Doug Free 4 years
QB Chris Greisen 3 years
DE Jason Hatcher 5 years
WR Sam Hurd 5 years
OG Kyle Kosier 9 years
SS Gerald Sensabuagh 6 years
DE Marcus Spears 6 years
LB Leon Williams 4 years

Besides Spears, I wouldn't be upset if we didn't resign any of these players.

We'll resign Free and Bowen. Maybe even Spears. Depends on the interest he gets from other teams.
