Cowboys don't want to talk about Randy Moss until after Sunday's game

IRVING – Question: When does Tennessee receiver Nate Washington command more attention than Randy Moss?

Answer: when the Titans are next on the schedule.

Moss' return to Minnesota was the big story in the NFL on Wednesday. But Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware had no idea the Vikings had completed the deal with New England until told by reporters. His focus is on Tennessee.

Ware has little interest in sharing his thoughts on the trade until the Cowboys face Minnesota next week. Safety Alan Ball took the same stance. One of the few players who allowed himself a quick break from Titans immersion was defensive end Stephen Bowen.

"He makes them a lot better being that they don't have Sidney Rice for half the season," Bowen said. "We're going to have to come out on point when we play them."

Ray Sherman, the Cowboys receivers coach, was Minnesota's offensive coordinator in Moss's second season in the league.

"Randy has been rejuvenated," Sherman said. "Brett [Favre] is rejuvenated.

"One thing I know, they're going to throw it deep. Brett can still throw it deep, and Randy can still go get it. That's something I know they're going to do."

The trade has implications to the NFC playoff race, and Moss has tormented the Cowboys for more than a decade. But for the most part, those discussions at Valley Ranch have been tabled until after Sunday's game against Tennessee.

"We'll worry about that next week," Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said of Moss.

Fuck Randy Moss.

He's not as good as he used to be, and our defense is a lot better than it was when he torched us before.

Yes, he'll have a good game, but he won't torch us. If anything we better keep an eye on Shiancoe, Harvin and Peterson.

They won't be double covered most likely we will be in man to man on them.
