Speaking after the Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito boxing press conference at Cowboys Stadium, owner/GM Jerry Jones said the Cowboys are exploring trade possibilities involving multiple teams and more than one player as Saturday's final roster cuts loom.

Jones did not name specific players and declined to say whether draft picks would be desired compensation. Asked if a trade was probable or merely possible, Jones said, "Possible, but very real."

Wide receivers Patrick Crayton and Sam Hurd are the most prominent names in trade rumors this week. Trading either might be tricky due to their current compensation levels; Crayton has two years left on a deal that will pay him $2 million this year, and Hurd is scheduled to make $1.759 million.

The Cowboys must trim from 75 to 53 players by 5 p.m. Saturday. Jones was in meetings all morning and said the team has "a pretty firm" idea how to construct its final roster.

Getting something out of players they could simply have cut, is a positive. Jerreh's GM skills have improved over the years.

Don't forget to add MBIII to the trade rumor list.....Heard it earlier today on NFL Net

Now that's one trade where I would want something good in return.

It doesn't matter anyways because FJ and TC will handle the load.

Plus, I like Donaldson.
