The Cowboys claimed Mike Balogun off waivers Monday, three days after the Buffalo Bills released the linebacker.

Balogun, who was signed by Buffalo on Nov. 10 after being a member of Tampa Bay's practice squad, appeared in two games this past season and played mostly on special teams.

Balogun, 27, had his eligibility decertified by the NCAA in 2009 after playing one season at Oklahoma. It was alleged that Balogun had participated in a non-paid semipro league after his 21st birthday. Balogun was originally signed by San Francisco as a free agent. He also spent time with the Washington Redskins.

Yep, if it isn't about an overrated USC player it just isn't interesting.

No . I just am not impressed with this scrub. I'd feel they same way if we had just signed Thomas Williams (former USC linebacker). I want better players for the Cowboys, not more JAG's.

Right now it is a process of getting bodies into camp (if camp even happens). One team's JAG may be another team's All-Pro starter. I don't know anything about this guy and he will probably end up as nothing but the successful teams will constantly bring in fresh bodies like this to try them out and have them compete for a roster spot.
