Orlando Scandrick, who has missed the last three games with a high ankle sprain, declared he will return against New England after the bye week.
"I'll practice sometime next week and I am going to play,'' Scandrick said. "I've seen a doctor and he said if we had a game this week, I would play.''
The Cowboys cornerback suffered the injury in the first half of the opener against the New York Jets and hasn't played since. He will be charged with covering Wes Welker, the league's best slot receiver, in his first game back.
"I feel good,'' Scandrick said. "I'm excited about the challenge to come back and play against Wes Walker.''
