TAMPA, Fla. -- The Cowboys’ 31-15 win against Tampa Bay was still dripping wet late Saturday night but already the attention was on nxt week’s foe, Philadelphia.
“Now,” cornerback Mike Jenkins said in the locker room when the team would start to think about the Eagles.
“Probably right when we get on the bus,” guard Kyle Kosier said.
The Eagles handed the Cowboys a 34-7 loss on Oct. 30 at Lincoln Financial Field. In order to ensure a playoff possibility in the season finale, Jan. 1 at the New York Giants, the Cowboys will have to repay the Eagles.
“We definitely have got to get them,” Jenkins said. “That’s a big game for us. We need that game. We’ve got to let this game go. We won this one, but it has to be just like a loss and get the taste out of our mouths as soon as possible. So right now we’ve got to focus on Philadelphia.”
