SAN ANTONIO -- The Cowboys agreed to terms with another seventh-round pick by bringing fullback Shaun Chapas into the fold with a four-year deal.

Chapas was the 220th overall pick out of Georgia. They signed guard/center Bill Nagy on Wednesday night.

Chapas is in San Antonio and will practice today.

The former roommate of Matthew Stafford -- the Highland Park grad and 2009 No. 1 overall pick of Detroit -- will compete with Chris Gronkowski for the fullback spot.

Chapas scored seven touchdowns in his career. As a senior he started nine of the 11 games and had 44 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He also caught five passes for 29 yards and two touchdowns.

Hope he can be the next Moose. He shouldn't have any problem beating out Gronkowski.

Miss assignments during a real game and you get your quarterback placed on IR. I can't imagine keeping him much longer.
