1. Do you think JJ may be having money problems?

2. Are reports of Dallas being 21Million in Dead money next season true ? If so, that's most likely why we're going bottom basement shopping.

3. Could it be ...that JJ is seeing what magic RR & JG can make outta shit stew ... knowing that Sean Peyton loves him some Dallas Texas...

1. I don't know. I've heard/read about the possibility since the new stadium was built. I have my doubts.

2. Again, I'm not a cap guru. I'd have to defer to the only guy I know that knows about the cap, Cythim.

3. I happen to think you might be onto something there. Jerry thought he had a great team going into 2010. Saw the team play like shit, then be competitive when JG took over. He always thinks he has the best team. Go back to when he predicted 10-6 in Qc's first year as a starter. He probably thinks he was right going into 2010 and that Wade Phillips was the mistake, not his over rating of the roster.

We shall see in the coming weeks.

I don't know what the Sean Peyton reference means, I was more less talking about Jerry thinking last year was an off year from a "set' roster of probowlers.

2. Yes. All dead money is being pushed to 2012 and this is the reason we will not restructure Romo.

But if you compare the dead money created by cutting Marion Barber, Roy Williams, Leonard Davis, and Marc Colombo to the actual cap hit (base salary + pro-rated salary bonus + potentially any roster bonuses), I'm sure the dead money is less.

Also, you have to think T Newman is as good as cut next off-season at age 33 (34 once 2012 season starts) and an 8 million dollar cap hit.

We end up with a net gain over the two years of no salary for those players, it just hurts the books to have it all hit in one year. I restructure of Romo's contract would push another $3 million into next year, so I doubt we see as much restructuring as guys like Adam predicted.

1. No. We were in play for Nnamdi and barely missed out.
2. Thats what I keep reading. Not sure how true...
3. Na. That would be practically setting his team up for failure. Jerry wants nothing more than to win and look like a genius if JG succeeds.
